A former volunteer fire station in Baltimore County has been sold to government roofing contractor SGK Contracting Inc. for $3 million. Local commercial real estate brokerage Gold and Company assisted in facilitating the sale of the property located at 4000 Benson Ave.
The six-acre property contains an 11,500 square foot building with eight drive-in doors. It is zoned for industrial use and provides convenient access to two major interstates, I-95 and I-695.
The acquisition aligns with SGK Contracting’s goals of enhancing operational efficiency and expanding its regional footprint. The company aims to be fully operational at the new property by late spring 2024.
